How we work together
Everything below applies to every 4Socials engagement. We would rather you read it now than discover it later.
Last reviewed: September 2026
Payments, billing & refunds
- A refund is possible within the first 7 days of the client making payment. Stripe fees are not covered by 4Socials.
- The client is charged an onboarding fee & an upfront payment for the service. Thereafter a monthly retainer is payable at the amount agreed by both parties.
- The timeline begins on the day payment is made. The client is charged on the same date each month until they ask 4Socials to pause or terminate.
- If a client makes payment & does not reply for 60 days, no refund is issued for that period.
- To terminate, the client must notify 4Socials at least 7 days before the next payment date. After that point no refund is given, as a dedicated team is already deployed to deliver the service.
- Any refund request is assessed by 4Socials on its merits. Where the grounds are not justified, no refund is given.
- Where the grounds are accepted as valid, the applicable amount is returned to the client within sixty (60) days of written acceptance.
- On termination, the client pays for all work performed to date.
- 4Socials reserves the right to revise its pricing where the facts & figures support it, or where the cost of tools or the structure of the service itself changes.
- Where a scheduled payment fails, the client has 72 hours to settle the amount or to respond to 4Socials about it.
- If neither happens within that 72-hour window, all work stops & the tools running the client's account are discontinued.
- Work already performed before that point remains payable, whether or not the client continues the engagement.
- Work & tooling resume once the outstanding amount is cleared.
Tools & software costs
- Every tool required to deliver the agreed scope is covered by the flat monthly retainer. The client pays nothing extra for software.
- Where a task falls outside what the client disclosed at onboarding & requires an additional tool, the cost of that tool is borne by the client.
Account access & security
- Where the engagement requires it, 4Socials takes full operational control of the client's social accounts.
- Before access is granted, the client must enable two-factor authentication on the account.
- Login credentials are stored under multi-layer protection & are accessible only to the team members assigned to that account.
- The client remains the owner of the account throughout the engagement.
- On termination by either party, & once all outstanding dues are cleared, 4Socials deletes the stored credentials & demonstrates that deletion to the client on a recorded video call.
- The client is asked to change the account password immediately after that call.
Revisions & rework
- For content strategy, profile optimization, design & writing, 3 free reviews are included. Beyond that, additional changes are billed at $250.
- If, after signing, the client wishes to change the profile direction & consequently the questionnaire or the strategic foundation built on it, a rework fee of USD 3,000 applies for each such change.
- The rework fee covers rebuilding the strategy, evaluations, content calendar & related materials affected by the change.
Onboarding & strategy
- Once payment is made, a questionnaire is sent to the client the same day, within 3 hours. Once the completed questionnaire is returned, 4Socials takes up to 10 days to build the strategy.
- As the engaged experts, 4Socials holds authority over its strategy across content, copy, design, posting schedule & profile settings, for maximum performance & results.
Scope of service
- Where lead generation is the agreed objective, 4Socials is responsible for bringing qualified leads to the client from their profiles. Closing those leads is the client's responsibility. 4Socials offers a separate course on closing, charged separately.
- Verifiable personal claims, including income figures, employer references & personal family stories, always require the client's prior written approval before publication.
- Client feedback is welcomed & considered in good faith. Final execution within the locked strategy rests with 4Socials.
Results & expectations
- The figures published by 4Socials, including view counts, follower growth, lead volume & revenue generated, are real results achieved for 4Socials or for its clients.
- Those figures are examples of what the system has produced. They are not a promise of what it will produce for any particular client.
- Outcomes depend on your industry, your offer, your market, the state of your profile at the start & your own follow-through on the leads generated.
- 4Socials does not guarantee any specific number of leads, followers, impressions or revenue.
Client responsibilities
- The client shall respond to any message, query or approval request from 4Socials within a maximum of forty-eight (48) hours, so work continues smoothly.
- Where a response is not received within that window, 4Socials bears no responsibility for delays, missed schedules or performance impact caused as a result.
- The client shall coordinate with 4Socials before making material edits to the profile, published content or account settings during the term.
- Where major edits from the client's side hinder the work, 4Socials bears no responsibility for the resulting outcomes, delays or performance degradation.
Communication & hours
- 4Socials operates 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST.
- Clients reach 4Socials team members through the shared Slack channel or their 4Socials business email only.
- No other channel is monitored. Messages sent anywhere else may not be seen & 4Socials bears no responsibility for anything missed as a result.
Outbound compliance
- Where the engagement includes cold email, cold calling or DM outreach, 4Socials runs those campaigns in line with the rules that apply, including CAN-SPAM in the United States, GDPR & PECR across the United Kingdom & the European Union, & the Spam Act 2003 in Australia.
- The client confirms that the product or service being promoted is lawful & that the claims made about it are accurate.
- 4Socials is responsible for how a campaign is run. The client is responsible for the truth of the claims made about their own business.
- Opt-out requests are actioned promptly & suppression lists are maintained for the duration of the engagement.
Platform risk
- LinkedIn, X (Twitter) & any other social platform behaviour, including algorithm shifts, reach fluctuations, restrictions or suspensions, sits outside 4Socials' control. 4Socials is not liable for its effects.

Non-solicitation of personnel
- The client shall not hire, engage or solicit any 4Socials employee, contractor or team member assigned to their account, whether directly or through another entity.
- This applies for the duration of the engagement & for twelve (12) months after it ends.
- Where the client wishes to engage a 4Socials team member, this is arranged with 4Socials in writing beforehand.
Events outside our control
- Neither party is in breach of this agreement where performance is prevented by events beyond its reasonable control.
- These include natural disaster, war, civil unrest, government action, nationwide internet or utility failure, country-level platform bans & large-scale outages of the platforms or tools the service depends on.
- Obligations are paused for the duration of the event rather than cancelled, & the affected party notifies the other as soon as it reasonably can.
- Where the disruption continues beyond thirty (30) days, either party may terminate the engagement in writing, with the client paying for all work performed to that point.
Testimonials & publicity
- Where 4Socials wishes to publish a client testimonial, the testimonial must be provided by the client in writing.
- The client's written consent is obtained before that testimonial is published anywhere.
- The same applies to naming a client, or to publishing their results in an identifiable form, on the 4Socials website, in proposals or in any marketing material.
- Consent may be withdrawn in writing at any time, & the material is removed from 4Socials-controlled channels within a reasonable period of the request.
Confidentiality
- During the engagement, each party may receive confidential or proprietary information of the other ("confidential information").
- Each party agrees to use confidential information solely for the purposes of the engagement, to withhold it from third parties without prior written consent, to protect it with at least reasonable care & to return or destroy it on termination.
- Confidential information excludes anything already public, independently developed or lawfully obtained from a third party.
- This mutual non-disclosure obligation survives completion or termination of the engagement.
Intellectual property
- On full payment of all fees, the content & materials produced for the client under this agreement become the property of the client.
- Until full payment, all materials remain the property of 4Socials.
- 4Socials retains ownership of its methodologies, frameworks, playbooks & templates used to deliver the services.
Liability & disputes
- The total liability of 4Socials under this agreement shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client.
- This agreement is governed by & construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia, regardless of where the client is located.
- Any dispute is first addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties, then referred to arbitration in Sydney, New South Wales under the rules of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration.
